A ‘professional skills’ teacher, Laudon is always at the ready to share his experiences about sh** he learned the hard way.
We had a chance to talk to Laudon and learn a bit more about his life as a creator.
Tell us a bit more about your channel.
My channel is focused on sharing lessons hard-learned and wisdom hard-gained.
Why did you become a creator?
I saw a gap that most companies no longer focus on developing the "soft skills" people need to succeed. This is an area of expertise for me so I wanted to give back to the community by creating free content for professional development.
Where do you get inspiration for your videos?
Usually from my personal experiences, viewer suggestions and peer input.
Who are some of your favorite YouTube creators?
I love GMM, How to Drink, The Food Ranger, the Nimmins, iJustine, Peter McKinnon, Tom Buck, Curtis Judd, Roberto Blake and I am watching a lot of content from smaller YouTubers I've befriended since I started my channel.
What one piece advice would you give to your fellow creators?
Do it. Just start. When people told me that I thought they were crazy and now I am irritated with myself for taking two years to finally get started.
